As 2025 begins, we’re excited to bring you the latest updates on fulfillment, cultivation program updates, software updates, and more.
Shipping Updates
US and International Orders
We’re thrilled to share that the first batch of Shrooly S1 devices for US and international orders has been manufactured and is set to be on its way to the United States by the end of January.
While we’re working hard to get your orders and contributions out as quickly as possible, there will be a slight delay of a few weeks for shipments to the US and other countries. This means the timeline shared in our October Update has been adjusted, with shipping now expected to begin in the middle of February.
EU and European Orders
We’re excited to share that while orders from the European Union have already been shipped, we’re now ready to ship all other European orders outside the EU as well! Our team has been working tirelessly to make shipping available to the final three countries — Switzerland, Norway, and the United Kingdom. We began shipping to these countries in October, and throughout November and December, we’ve ramped up deliveries to ensure as many customers as possible receive their orders before the end of last year. To the United Kingdom, we have already shipped more than 200 orders, and will continue shipping in the beginning of the new year ensuring that all orders from the UK will be fulfilled by the end of January.
Finalizing shipping to European countries was a significant challenge for our team, but reaching this milestone of opening three additional countries marks a major achievement for Shrooly — we’re now shipping to 29 countries!
Product and Cultivation Updates
Updated Lion’s Mane and Reishi Cultivation Programs
Based on your feedback, you’ve loved the updated, quieter cultivation programs for Elm Oyster, Pink Oyster, and Yellow Oyster. In November, we completed testing the quieter cultivation programs for Lion’s Mane and Reishi and have updated their cultivation settings in the Shrooly app. With this update, you can now grow all mushrooms in our selection with reduced noise from the device, making the experience of growing mushrooms at home even more enjoyable!
Starting Mushroom-Specific Cultivations From Your Shrooly
We’re excited to share that, from now on, you can start mushroom-specific cultivation programs directly from your Shrooly, without needing to use the Shrooly app. This allows you to start cultivating even in remote locations without internet access.
We’ve introduced four types of cultivation programs that can be started from your Shrooly:
- Oyster: suitable for all oyster mushrooms, including Pink Oyster, Yellow Oyster, and the new Elm Oyster
- Lion’s Mane
- Reishi
- Pioppino
We’ve listened to feedback from those with multiple Shrooly devices at home. With this new update, you can now start cultivation programs tailored specifically to the needs of the mushrooms you’re growing.
Feedback About Elm Oyster
If you’ve been keeping up with our updates, you might have seen that we introduced a new mushroom variety in October — Elm Oyster — and we’re so excited to hear your feedback! So far, users who have cultivated this mushroom have reported a very high level of satisfaction, highlighting the success of the hard work our cultivation expert put into perfecting Elm Oyster Pods.
Content and Services Improvements
Over the past two months, we’ve been working hard at improving the Pod Claiming system to make redeeming your pre-paid Pod Credits as seamless as possible. We’ve also revamped the navigation on our website, making it easier to find information — whether you’re searching for details about our mushroom varieties, visiting the Help Center, or checking out Customer Updates. Additionally, we’ve created email content to share fascinating insights into the world of fungi and the benefits of using Shrooly.
In addition, we partnered with Milky Plant, whose values align with ours: empowering people to live healthier lives by creating their own food conveniently at home.
What’s Ahead?
In January, we continue to dedicate our efforts to ensuring smooth shipping to the United States and other countries, aiming to begin delivering orders by mid-February.
